Getting to Pescadero
Pescadero is a tiny town between Half Moon Bay and Santa Cruz. We recommend flying into either San Francisco or San Jose airports and taking a car to the coast.
Lodging
We highly recommend booking a stay at Costanoa in Pescadero which has a lodge, cabins, yurts, and campsites and is a short drive to Pie Ranch.* They do not do blocks so we recommend booking as soon as possible.
Book directly with Costanoa here.
*It’s also where we will be staying and where breakfast will be the following day.
Finding Pie Ranch
Pie Ranch is located along Highway 1 at 2080 CA-1, Pescadero, CA 94060.

Things to Do
-
Pescadero & Half Moon Bay
It's not hard to love this sliver of the world. We recommend taking it easy and exploring the coast by car, taking some beach walks, and dropping in to whatever local haunts - or the many pumpkin patches open this time of year - draw you in.
Pescadero: the closest good coffee is Downtown Local. Also in town, Arcangeli Grocer for picnicking goodies. Duarte's, the local pub (where our welcome party also is), has surprisingly tasty food. The fish tacos at the gas station on the main street are, in fact, delicious. Harley Farms Goat Dairy is a popular spot in town.
Pie Ranch's farmstand is open until 5pm daily.
Nearby beaches: Año Nuevo State Park, San Gregorio, Bean Hollow, Pigeon Point Lighthouse.
Costanoa has plenty of halloween and kid-friendly activities during our wedding weekend, including yoga and camp-wide trick-or-treating.

South: Santa Cruz
Going south, stop at Shark Fin Cove on your way in to Santa Cruz.
Monarch butterflies arrive at Natural Bridges State Beach for the winter in October. Lucky us!
The classics: ride the giant dipper on the boardwalk. Walk along West Cliff Drive and watch surfers at Pleasure Point. Walk the Redwoods at Henry Cowell State Park or Big Basin. Ride the steam train at Roaring Camp. Explore some of the mountain towns of Felton, Boulder Creek, and Bonny Doon.
Food and drink faves: eat and drink off of Swift and Ingalls (11th Hour Coffee, Humble Sea Brewing, multiple wine spots, and lots of food options). Grab an acai bowl! Bad Animal for natural wine and used books.
